Pumpernickel
Pumpernickel is a dense, slightly sweet rye bread traditionally made with sourdough starter and coarsely ground rye.
At Blacksburg Bagels, we bake Pumpernickel loaves on Fridays. We make Pumpernickel Bagels and sometimes experiment with Marbled Rye Loaves and Pumpernickel English Muffins.
